The Art of FramingWhat is the Art of Framing? This seminar explores the ways we create and respond to the contexts of our lives. Mostly, contextual cues operate outside our awareness and either we respon 'appropriately' to them or we behave in some other way. In this three-day Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) seminar we shall explore our patterns of behaviour, states and interactions within the world of contexts that cue these patterns. Then we can influence any context where we are so it becomes more to our liking while also influencing the people in it. With awareness of the existence of framing, we can have far more influence on our states and how we present ourselves to create supportive conditions for ourselves to influence our experiences and our world. This seminar provides an opportunity to discover existing cues, create the cues we want others to follow and communicate them effectively to others and ourselves. The New Code of NLP in the Art of FramingThe New Code of NLP is a fundamental reorganisation and recoding of NLP. It focuses on the interface between conscious attention, the cognitive unconscious and the manipulation of state towards excellence. In the New Code (as opposed to the original Classic Code), NLP co-originator John Grinder has outlined and described the distinction between NLP as a model making endeavour and NLP as an application. This distinction ensures practitioners fully understand how to apply NLP patterns to their personal lives while also helping others apply it to their own lives. This New Code was created as a result of Grinder realising many brilliant practitioners were adept at helping others apply NLP patterns to their lives to achieve deep sustainable change, but for various reasons failed to adequately apply it for optimal benefit to their own lives. Hence the focus of the New Code on self-application of NLP patterning and appreciation of the difference between form and content. In this three-day Art of Framing seminar, we shall be drawing from the New Code of NLP to detect and utilise patterns within our own systems and between our systems and the world. We shall learn to recognise, record and change states, as we apply presuppositions of our choice to influence our contexts through clear observation and effective communication with ourselves and with others. We shall also learn where and how to focus our attention for optimal results and how that relates to state, perceptual position, context and influence. Grinder and DeLozier initially, and Grinder and Bostic more recently, developed the New Code of NLP to offer far more simplified processes to create a system for learning NLP that fosters the development of systemic wisdom in the participant and self application of the patterns in both trainers and students. In the Art of Framing seminar, systemic functional patterns and New Code change processes will be applied to discover and change patterns of thinking and behaviour associated with influencing participants' sense of self, others and context. The material presented will be applicable to self and to others in a framework of discovery and exploration. The main elements of The Art of Framing
You will learn
After the CourseWhen you have developed a close relationship between your conscious and unconscious resources as well as an increased sensory acuity for your own and others' presuppositions, you will have the capacity to create and change the frames for interactions with others and internal communication for yourself. The same skills and processes can help influence contexts in business, social settings and anywhere else of interest to you. This is a continuing opportunity to learn independently. All that is required is your attention and interest. TrainersDr. John Grinder, Co-creator of NLPJohn Grinder is the co-originator of NLP, which is generally regarded as the leading edge methodology in the study of human thinking and behaviour patterns. Undoubtedly he is one of the most interesting thinkers of our time. Grinder has written 14 books including texts on transformational grammar, family therapy, business communication and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Recently he co-authored the seminal work on the New Code of NLP, "Whispering in the Wind" with Carmen Bostic St Clair. He has devoted years of his life to his quest to uncover and present human patterns of excellence, modeled from genii in different fields. Grinder created NLP with Richard Bandler, by modeling human excellence. With his partner, Grinder continues to explore new territories, extend and update his work, introducing new models of excellence and revising and re-coding existing models from his and Bandler's early work. Inspiritive is the only company in Australia where you can learn directly from John Grinder. His and Carmen Bostic St. Clair's latest material will refine your original NLP experience significantly and will ensure you stay ahead of your field. Carmen Bostic St ClairCarmen is the CEO and founder of Quantum Leap, the company through which Bostic St. Clair and Grinder conduct their corporate work. She has held senior political research posts in government administration, including the White House Committee of the Development of Small Business and she represented California on the Business Advisory Council. Carmen Bostic St. Clair is an expert in cultural change, corporate excellence, team formation, leadership models and learning. She can elicit unconscious change in individuals and large teams, a skill few people have mastered. She is the co-author of Whispering in the Wind.
