New Code of NLP Practitioner Conversion Certification

Inspiritive offers a five-day course in the New Code of NLP for Practitioners and Master Practitioners of NLP. This course upgrades your existing practitioner or master practitioner certificate to a New Code of NLP Practitioner Certification.

Five Days to Extraordinary Application

What is the New Code of NLP?

The New Code of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a fundamental reorganisation and recoding of neuro-linguistic programming.  It focuses on the interface between conscious attention, the cognitive unconscious and the manipulation of state towards excellence. The New Code was begun by John Grinder with the assistance of his partner at the time, Judith DeLozier. Grinder has continued to develop and extend the New Code with Carmen Bostic St. Clair and they have written the seminal text defining and articulating NLP, the New Code and its principles and properties.

In the New Code (as opposed to the original classic code), NLP co-originator John Grinder has outlined and described the distinction between NLP as a model making endeavour and NLP as an application.  This distinction ensures practitioners fully understand how to apply NLP patterns to their personal lives while also helping others apply it to their own lives.

This New Code has come about as a result of Grinder realising many brilliant practitioners were adept at helping others apply NLP patterns to their lives to achieve deep sustainable change, but for various reasons failed to apply it adequately for optimal benefit to their own lives.  Hence the focus of the new code on self-application of NLP patterning and appreciation of the difference between form and content.

Effectively the New Code promotes unconscious competence, which may be followed by conscious appreciation. The balance between the conscious and unconscious minds is paramount and this is known as the conscious / unconscious interface.

The New Code focuses on the detection and utilisation of patterns in the world, with an emphasis on the patterns themselves. A New Code practitioner often creates a process spontaneously in response to a particular context. In the New Code, participants explore psycho-physiological states. They learn to recognise, record and change states. They learn where and how attention is accorded and how that relates to state, perceptual position and context.

Ultimately, the New Code offers a system for learning NLP that fosters the development of systemic wisdom in the practitioner as well as the participant.

Change yourself using your (current) certification and this course

Too often practitioners conduct NLP training without learning to apply NLP to themselves effectively. It is imperative if practitioners intend to apply NLP both professionally and personally. To use NLP patterns effectively and congruently with others, you need to apply NLP to yourself first. Then your skills will be memorable and available at all times. Self-application of NLP is an art and requirement in the new code. If you don't do it yourself, you can't model it for others.

About the Course

This five-day training course will take your NLP to a new level of fluency and utility. You will embed your current knowledge inside personal familiarity through applying the principles of the New Code to your learning.

When you apply NLP patterns to yourself you are on the way to mastering the patterns. When you engage unconscious resources to choose what and how to change, you are on the way to ecology of mind.  When you consider the intention and consequences of any outcome you choose, you are on the way to effective being in the world.

When you can do all of the above in your own words without notes, you respond to clients' communications in the moment -- with questions and comments based on NLP patterns.   You're in the NLP moment completely and purely.

Endorsement from Dr. John Grinder

"For over a decade, Jules and Chris Collingwood of INSPIRITIVE have worked diligently and effectively to make the New Code of NLP available. More remarkably, they have also focused on a set of mapping functions that connect the classic NLP patterns of interventions with the insights of the New Code. This allows classic trained NLP practitioner the option of continuing to use their classic patterns of NLP with the features of an updated New Code approach. It's a powerful combination".

- Dr. John Grinder (2010) -- co-creator of Neuro-Linguistic Programming
