11th January 2012 Hobart - State Management using hte whole brain for creative solutions to problems... A special Masterclass with Ian Snape - Open to allState management and using the whole brain for creative solutions to problems One of the features of New Code NLP is the emphasis on developing creative flexible states that allow a number of options to emerge for any particular context. Another feature is the deliberate inclusion of the role of the unconscious in problem solving, rather than relying on linear conscious processes alone. In this Masterclass we will use New Code games to promote the connectivity between left and right brain, and introduce spatial anchoring and classic code creativity challenges, then blend all three techniques to examine situations or contexts where new insights or choices might prove helpful. This will include a technique for shutting down the inner chatter to allow creative thoughts to emerge. This is an opportunity to have an experience of NLP. If you would like to find out more please call Ian on 0407 532 610 to confirm you attendance or receive a flyer. Whether you are an NLP consultant, a trainer or new to NLP all are welcome. Fern Tree community Centre 8th Feburary 2012 Hobart - Neuroplasticity - experience change of your choosing quickly and safely... A special Masterclass with Ian Snape - Open to allNeuroplasticity - experience change of your choosing quickly and safely Anchoring is the process by which memory recall, state change or other responses become associated with (anchored to) some stimulus, in such a way that perception of the stimulus (the anchor) leads by reflex to the anchored response occurring. The stimulus may be quite neutral or even out of conscious awareness, and the response may be either positive or negative. They are capable of being formed and reinforced by repeated stimuli, and thus are analogous to classical conditioning. In this Masterclass we will develop anchoring skills and experience neuroplastic response by overprinting one anchored state with another preferred state. This is a technique that Ian has used successfully with high performance athletes for competition, through to corporate executives facing a tough presentation (Definitions from Wikipedia and Collingwood and Collingwood on-line glossary). This is an opportunity to have an experience of NLP. If you would like to find out more please call Ian on 0407 532 610 to confirm you attendance or receive a flyer. Whether you are an NLP consultant, a trainer or new to NLP all are welcome. Fern Tree community Centre Dates to be announced Sydney - Modelling Expertise and Expert Performance ... A special Masterclass with Chris Collingwood - Open to allCreating models of expertise and expert performance is at the heart of NLP. A special masterclass with Chris and Jules Collingwood - Open to allAn interesting modelling project (where NLP consultants capture the patterns of expertise and expert performance of an acknowledged top performer) that took place in the late 1980's was that of modelling Roger Fisher of the Havard Negotiation project. Fisher and co-author William Ury wrote the seminal book on negotiation "Getting to Yes". John Grinder (co-creator of NLP) arranged for two trainers of NLP to model Fisher to produce an NLP model for negotiation. During this special masterclass Chris and Jules will present on how NLP patterns can be applied to enhance and produce results for the processes negotiation or conflict resolution. This evening event is an opportunity for participants to explore how they negotiate (we all negotiate even if not formally) and experience how they can apply NLP to their negotiations. This topic happens to be one of Jules specialised areas of expertise. Her post-graduate diploma is in Conflict Resolution. If you would like to find out please call Chris on 0425 298 176. Dates to be announced Sydney - NLP Redesigned and recoded; The application of New Code NLP to enhance NLP change techniques ... A special masterclass with Chris Collingwood - Open to allAs part of a major overhaul and reorganisation of NLP John Grinder (co-creator of NLP) created New Code NLP in which he and partner Carmen Bostic have defined a number of design principles for application and training in the field of NLP. When applied to NLP techniques or formats New Code NLP design principles produce more effective, efficient, ecological, and lasting change for clients. During this special masterclass Chris will take a classic code (the original NLP) NLP format / technique, deconstruct it into its constituent patterns and redesign it using New Code NLP design principles. The recoded format will then be demonstrated followed by a supervised exercise in which participants will have the opportunity to apply and / or experience the recoded technique for themselves. If you would like to find out more please call Chris on 0425 298 176. Whether you are an NLP consultant, a trainer or new to NLP all are welcome. Dates to be announced Sydney - Content free Consulting; A New Code NLP approach to personal change consultations ... A special masterclass with Chris or Jules Collingwood - Open to allOne of the principles of New Code NLP is that when engaged is assisting someone making personal changes in their lives that we as NLP consultants work 'content free'. This does not mean without substance, instead if refers to the NLP principle of guiding the client with one or a series of patterns in which they are able to manipulate the processing of the content of their lives that is under consideration. Working 'content free' ensures the personal privacy of the client and interestingly tends to get better and faster results. This is because the NLP consultant is protected from interpreting the clients situation, problem and or outcome. During this special masterclass Chris or Jules will describe the principles and approach to content free consulting, will demonstrate a piece of change work and arrange a short supervised exercise so that participants can experience and make a content free personal change for themselves. If you would like to find out more please call Chris on 0425 298 176. Whether you are an NLP consultant, a trainer or new to NLP all are welcome. About Chris CollingwoodChris began his journey learning and exploring NLP in 1979 and is acknowledged as one of the most experienced NLP trainers in the world. In addition to his work with Inspiritive offering nationally recognised training in NLP through courses open to the public he is also a principle of a management consultancy - Adept Executive Solutions. Adept provides Leadership and management training, cultural development, corporate change and the modelling of top performers within organisations. About NLP MasterclassesWe believe that our students and graduates would appreciate a cost-effective opportunity to continue their NLP development and have somewhere to get supervised practice. We are also aware that practice groups can be hard work for their managers and committees and often do not attract enough participants. We have lent support to a number of practice groups, but felt it inappropriate to have a training organization running one directly. The most successful model has a convener or a committee, and organises a presenter for each meeting. This is great in principle, but finding a steady stream of interesting, knowledgeable people is not easy. The standard model requires trainer skills and the grant of authority, otherwise the group is liable to fall apart through too much or too little structure. The most successful variant has a syllabus, revision program or manual to work through, and someone, usually on a trainer track, to run it. Then there is a master class. This is fun for all parties and appropriate for us to offer. It requires experienced trainers who know their subject well. They need to be comfortable trawling the group for material to use in the class, every time. There is no preparation time and the delivery must be up to standard. This is the most fun form of training delivery for people who do know their stuff. Often, something new comes out of a master class. The idea of a master class comes from classical music. There, an expert gives a lesson to an advanced student or students in front of an audience of other students, professionals and interested observers. The expert does not know what the lesson will cover until the subject student starts to play. Our master class will be structured like an NLP training class, but we shall run with topics and applications of interest to the people on the night. Sometimes we might propose developing a new process or recoding something. There might be a request to apply particular patterns in a new context or to develop the use of a combination of patterns with different people. There could be a supervision request, how to work with someone with specific qualities and outcomes. The options are wide open. There will be some presentation, with a demonstration and exercise. There will also be the option of doing something else in the exercise time, with coaching, if you prefer to do that. We also needed a showcase for people wanting to know more about NLP before deciding to train, and for your interested friends, colleagues and family to get something clearer than a verbal description. We know how difficult that can be. So this class is open to interested people wanting an introduction to NLP. What better way than participating in a real class. These people may provide the opportunity to do some real work with someone who is not trained in NLP, so they get the benefit of live experience and you get supervised practice with realistic subjects. The New Code is ideal for training advanced material to mixed level groups. John Grinder does this routinely and we are familiar with the process, too. This is something you may not have seen, as certification training takes a whole group through similar stages together. We shall be able to pursue your interests in depth and keep the attention of our visitors and explorers at the same time. With an hour at the end of the evening for free interaction, you will have time to socialise and network if you choose. Master classes in Sydney will run on a Wednesday each month from 7.00 pm to 9.30. The evening will begin with information gathering, followed by development and demonstration and a practical exercise. There will be the option of using exercise time for personal work or for advanced students to work with newcomers to NLP to ensure that all participants have a high quality experience and the chance to benefit personally. There will be a small charge of $19.95 to contribute to the costs of the venue. Our intent is to provide an opportunity for you to develop your NLP and meet people from other classes and for interested newcomers to have an experience of live NLP in a real classroom situation. We would love to be able to offer this for nothing in the long term, but even without trainer fees, there are unavoidable costs involved and we want to provide conducive surroundings. The Adina on Crown, 359 Crown Street, Surry Hills, Sydney is our regular training venue. You know it and how to find it and our newcomers will appreciate knowing where they will come to train when they choose to.
